better late than never...except for stuff like mold and rust. then i'd take never.

Hahahaha. I'm sorry, but seriously...I can't stop laughing at the pic representing "3." Sometimes I crack myself up. Actually, a lot of times. Actually, that happens more often than it probably should, so says Pocket. I think he's right. But I can't help it.
shoes: union bay brand. pants & shirt: gap. cardigan: j.crew. scarf: smith's marketplace. belt: thrifted. watch: target. earrings: gift.

Posting late today. I'm repainting one daughter's room so both daughters cans share the room so my son can move upstairs so we can maybe have houseguests for the next few months.

So I wore this ensemble for a total of, like, 1 hour today. I've been in paint clothes ever since. That's not cheating, is it? And, even if it is, I'm being honest about it. Which should cancel out any negativity you might feel from being betrayed. Let's all eat a pnut m&m as a token of peace.

Oooh, here's a psychological question for you all, once you've exhausted the chicken-or-the-egg bit: If someone tells the truth about their lie, are they honest or not? Annnnnd...yes, the chicken did come first. Absolutely.

Happy Wednesday! (what's left of it...)

Want this look? Here you go, help yourself...

really, you are too adorable, your sense of humor is AWESOME and i will take you up on the peanut butter (if you don't mind) m&m as token of just world peace and painting your girls' room in keeping with peace at home:) aleisha at cuteshortandfat.blogspot.com

No, not cheating.
Can I come by and watch you take your pictures sometime? I feel like it would give me a good ole belly laugh. I'll even help you paint.
Also, I'm loving the browns and blues.

You know, I could swear I did all the moves in your photos in my Pilates class today...

And, to geek out, you're totally right about the chicken. Scientists came out with a study last year about a necessary protein for eggs that only a chicken (or proto-chicken) can produce.

@aleisha: i'm not sure if you meant it about eating m&ms together...so i ate some for both of us. you're welcome.
@linda: YES! come by and belly-laugh away. that'd make two of us, and two is better than one.
@katie: i think i should take up pilates so i don't hurt myself one of these days. THAT would be embarrassing...
@peggy: isn't it great? my favorite is when i surprise myself with wit. get an extra kick out of that.
@kellie: this belt is quickly becoming my favorite...never mind the fact that i stole it from my 6-year-old son's closet because he wore it with a pirate costume for halloween. gah! i shouldn't admit stuff like that. what i MEANT to say was that i bought it at a very prestigious store full of prestigious and fashionable clothes. it was very expensive and designed exclusively for the runway.

o wow. Just found your fantastic blog. I think you are my favorite remixer!! Love all of the outfits. Gone is the notion that moms have to wear the high-waisted and pleated jeans!

Keep it up!!

You should totally take a video one day of your photo-taking session. That would be awesome! And I agree with the peanut butter m&ms. I just like 'em better.

And yes, the chicken came first. As far as whether they're an honest person, I think it takes more than telling the truth about their lie to determine if they're honest as a person.

OMG, I think I am going to check your blog daily just for the comedic poses (and of course, the cute coloured tights).
Love the feel of your blog.
Best of luck with the boo-boo.

I love that you crack yourself up! My husband always tells me I don't have a sense of humor and then the things that do crack me up he ends up wondering if I've lost it!! :)

LOVE this style. Could really see myself wearing this to work. Surely inspires me. Btw, the camera adores you. I am way too shy to pose. Perhpas I should find myself an alter ego, Lol..

Cheers, StephAnna

The 3 cracked me up before I read that it cracked you up.

Brit I totally cracked up when I saw that 3. I was like what in the world? Only Brittney....My favorite part of reading this blog is it reminds me of the 4 page notes (letters) you used to write (during class while still making straight As and writing stellar notes to study from) that had me cracking up on every line. You have always been brutally honest (in a good way) and I loved that about you. I can hear your voice and envision your smiling face and gut wrenching lauhter as I read each post. Just know in my mind you will always looked as you did when you were 16 with medium colored Levi's, a stripped shirt (clearly stripes are still one of your favorite things), your faded navy blue chucks (which were my favorite btw) and your chin length curly blonde hair. Always smiling, always laughing....ALWAYS fun to be around!
