A Day in the Life Too... a blog about modest style

A 30-something mom's blog about modest style, DIY stuff, and limiting dessert. Just kidding. We eat dessert first around here.

graytitude, grawtitude (get it? it's like a lamer, more confusing version of "potayto potawto.")

boots: kohl's. tights: gift. skirt: kosher casual. shirt: american eagle outfitters. jewelry: assorted. belt: forever21.

This week I'm grateful for:

- tax returns. Wahoooo!
- a roof over my head and food in my cupboards. So many people don't even have that, and I just feel so blessed.
- airplanes that bring my husband back to me.
- weather. Especially good weather, which I haven't had much of lately, which makes me grateful for its future debut...sooner or later. Preferably sooner. Like in 5 minutes. (You hearing me, Mother Nature?)
- new markers and coloring with my kiddos like I was 5 years old again. Seriously. Therapeutic.
- cadbury mini eggs.
- new mattress pad.
- hearing my 2-year-old say "oh. my. dosh." real slow and adult-like. (anytime a kid says something more "grown up" than they can actually correctly pronounce is, let's be honest, heart-melting. and hilarious.)
- the feeling of satisfaction.
- when things just work out. or, even if they didn't, the mere fact that they're over and done with. i'm grateful for that.

Happy Sunday!

I really like this outfit. I just started following your blog a few weeks ago, and have really liked your fun style of blogging.

I'm having a week in April that I would like to find some moms to guest post for me on "mom" things, tips, tricks, etc. I know we haven't gotten to know each other, but I wanted to see if you may be interested in contributing. If so, email me for details or with questions. noguiltfashion@gmail.com

I love that you did a gratitude post! I was just saying how I get so inspired I get by reading other peoples lists, and that it reminds me of all the wonderful things in my life that I have to be grateful for!
Plus, your outfit is super cute too! :)

I LOVE your outfit. At first I didn't care for the magenta (fuschia?) tights, but I love how you tied in the necklace to match them. I am also a fan of mixing necklaces so the beads and the pendant together look great.

I seriously think you should consider a job as a stand-in for Jennifer Garner. Except you would be Jennifer Garner's waaaay funnier stand-in.

P.S.
Oh. My. Dosh. = Preshy Poo Poo
